I second it, really it's a great idea, i like to make an offer to meet at Delhi on coming August at the time of India Art Summit, there will be a networking evening at Hotel Grand on 23rd and three days 22nd 23rd and 24th at Pragati Maidan, at either place we IAN members can meet.What do you think??

Hi Deepak...........Great Idea..I think you would need one in Mumbai and another in Delhi convenient for everyone.Lets not try and have a stiff meeting with too many panelists and all that.Display some good paintings etc.Just make the first meeting an informal one so everyone gets to know everyone else.Sounds good!.....cheers.

The objective i had in mind was an informal get together so we could meet each other. There are many other avenues to have a panel etc so lets keep this informal and fun. Maybe in the future we can organise something with a more formal programme.

What do the rest of you think?

great idea! I'm in for it. And i second the idea to have it informal to start with, and then furture activities could have a specifc plan to it. Guess it would be a good idea to have one each in Delhi and B'bay.

I am traveling during the Indian Art Summit and will be in Singapore which is a shame but I cannot change that commitment. Will suggest alternatives for both bombay and delhi.

Would be great to meet IAN forum members in person. Do also feel some sort of discussion might help break the ice and also help introduce members. Bombay works gr8 for me.

Informal, please - I think more gets shared and meetings are more satisfactory when one can walk around and talk to or about any aspect of art one wants to. A formal one can be done at a later date.
